I bought books!
Check out what I got.

First I took a trip to my local used bookstore and picked up Cleopatra 7.2 by Elizabeth Ann Scarborough and Capture the Rainbow by Iris Johansen.
Cleopatra 7.2 is a sci-fi book with what seems to be a slight dystopian slant (my kinda book!) and Capture the Rainbow is your standard fare grocery store romance novel. (Which I described to my cousin as "literary candy," lol.)

Then I picked up, at my local Dollar Tree of all places, Like Father Like Son by Robert Scott. This one is a true crime account and it seems really interesting.
Then I grabbed Resistance by Kayla Howarth, the sequel to The Institute that I read at the first of the year. I've been looking forward to this book and just realized it's been out since May! But I have it now and I can't wait to start it.
I then realized that Cleopatra 7.2 just so happens to be a sequel, so I picked up the eBook edition of its predecessor, Channeling Cleopatra and I plan to read this one first.
